Designed with single and double cab versions, the improved speed and increased range of the XDV transformed the friendly milk float into an all-purpose delivery/service vehicle capable of competing with any commercial vehicle on the road today. The unique battery configuration and charging regime meant the vehicle could remain operational throughout the day, capable of carrying a wide variety of different goods, thus increasing throughput and reducing running costs at the same time. |
With a top speed in excess of 55mph, and a range of over 50 miles, the XDV could reach the parts that traditional milk floats couldn't, but without creating the pollution caused by ordinary delivery vans. |
